The SRC is having a food drive for our local food bank this week! Bring non-perishable food items to your Period 1 class. On Thursday, the SRC will collect and count the total number of items that each class donates. The class that donates the most items will get Halloween candy in Period 1 on Friday!

Monday is Midnight Monday - wear all black
Tuesday is teachers dress like students and students dress like teachers
Wednesday is Halloween Colours Day - wear orange, green, black, and/or purple
Thursday is Halloween! Wear your best school appropriate costume
Friday is Concert T-shirt Day

Edsby is experiencing a glitch in some highschool class gradebooks - marks are appearing for some classes and not for others.

The Division is aware and working to fix the issues, thank you for your patience.

If you missed getting your pictures taken the first time around or wish to get retakes, Edge Imaging will be back on October 28th!

ECS Staff spend a portion of the October 21st PD Day focusing on developing a culture of mental wellness in the school community. Staff broke into small groups to brainstorm ideas on how to further support students and promote positive mental health across the school.

School Community Councils play an important role when it comes to bridging the ties between schools and families.
Any parent or guardian of a student that attends ECS or any community member that lives within the attendance area is eligible to run for an elected position on the SCC.
Nomination forms are attached (click in the heading of this article), pick one up at the school, or at our annual general meeting.

The SRC is having a Pass the Cup fundraiser for The United Way this Thursday, October 17th, in Period 5.

Please donate whatever you can, including any spare change!

The class that raises the most money will receive donuts next week.

For anyone that missed getting their school photo taken or that wish to get retakes, Edge Imaging will be back on October 28th!

Make sure to pick up your student ID card and proofs from your homeroom teacher if you haven't yet. They will let you know if they still have them or if they are waiting for your pick up in the office.
