Announcements: Day 1 on the school calendar
Today is June 1st, the first day of Pride Month. June is the month every year to work towards equal justice and equal opportunity, so please choose to learn about Pride, ignorance is a choice - be better.
Today's LGBTQIA+ fun fact is:
1924 was the first documented Gays Rights organization.
What do the colors on the flag represent?
Each color on the original flag had a special meaning: Pink represented sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for magic, blue for serenity, and violet represented spirit.
Happy Birthday to Lance Boutin and Alex Gillies
Thanks to the staff who were involved in organizing the Academic Awards ceremony last night, and congratulations to all of the award winners. It was a great night to celebrate the achievements of so many of our students.
ECS Prom is happening tomorrow night from 7-11pm in the cafeteria. We have a DJ coming from Regina, so tickets will be $10 each. There will be snacks and drinks available for sale at the dance as well.
Tickets are on sale every day before school and at lunch. Find an SRC member to purchase your ticket. If you need a guest pass for a non ECS student, please see Mrs. Podovinnikoff in Room 272. You can also purchase your tickets at the door.
Students will be required to take a breathalyzer test at the door. All school rules apply!!
Need a lunch idea for tomorrow…Western Financial is having Taco in a bag for 10$ (includes a drink). That is just a short walk from the Comp.
